correction[modifier le code]

Apologies for the English. There's an inaccuracy in the sentence: "À la suite de ce transfert, les deux éditorialistes du journal furent Douglas Woodruff et Michael Derrick, connus pour leurs travaux pour The Times et Graham Greene."

In fact:

  • Douglas Woodruff (of The Times) was editor 1936-1967
  • Michael Derrick was assistant editor 1938-1961 (often acting as main editor, since Woodruff had a lot of other concerns and liked to travel)
  • Tom Burns (who at Longmans helped Graham Greene's early career along) was editor 1967-1982; although a political conservative it was he (rather than John Wilkins, politically left-wing) who set The Tablet against traditional moral teachings from the very beginning of his editorship. --Paularblaster (d) 6 janvier 2008 à 22:19 (CET)[répondre]
