Le pays de Galles est une circonscription du Parlement européen. Elle disparaît en 2020 à la suite du retrait du Royaume-Uni de l'Union européenne (Brexit).

Frontières[modifier | modifier le code]

La circonscription électorale correspond aux frontières du pays de Galles, l'une des quatre nations constituantes du Royaume-Uni[1],[2].

Historique[modifier | modifier le code]

Il a été formé à la suite de l'European Parliamentary Elections Act 1999, le remplacement d'un certain nombre de circonscriptions uninominales. C'étaient Mid and West Wales, North Wales, South Wales Central, South Wales East, and South Wales West.
