VAL 466G (which was originally DOE 111K, later re-registered SCK 56G, before being given the relevant registration* it carries now) is a 1972 Bedford VAL 70 with Plaxton Panorama Elite bodywork. This vehicle was restored into it's current glory by B.Fosker of the Running Footman, before being sold to J Watkins of West Midlands in early 2012.
For the people who don't realise the relevance of the reg, it is relevant because it is a VAL, and the engine is a Bedford 466.
This was one of 6 VALS at the first Bedford VAL 50 line-up, held at AEC Centenary on 27th May 2012.
Other Bedford VALS present include CNW155C, XUR 290K, SNT 925H, OOR 320G and OOW 999G - ex-Southern Television Broadcasting Unit was on display, along with working apparatus.
NEXT BEDFORD VAL LINE-UP -
16th September 2012 - Duxford.
