Commentaire de fichier JPEG | GALIMBERTI Sándor
(1883, Kaposvár - 1915, Budapest) Tabán 1910 Olaj, vászon, 111 x 76 cm Magyar Nemzeti Galéria, Budapest Galimberti másfél tucatnyi ismert mûve következetes festõi fejlõdésrõl tanúskodik. A Tabán igen rövid festõi mûködésének közepén keletkezet, összefoglalva az addigi tanulságokat és jelölve a következõ kapcsolatokat. Mint kortársai közül többen - különösen a vele együtt induló Nyolcak csoport mûvészei - a nagybányai természetlátástól nem tud teljesen elszakadni. Ezen a képen elsõsorban a meleg színek egymást erõsítõ harmóniája utal a Nagybányán tanultakra, de megfigyelhetõ a Fauve-ok hatása is. A benyúló faág dekoratív vonala, a kontúrok színeket erõsítõ finom hálója is ez utóbbi irányzatot idézi. Korai képein a természeti látványt igyekszik a dekoratív képépítésnek alárendelni. A hosszúkás képforma is ezt segíti. A háztetõk síkjainak egymás fölé építése, a formák ritmikus ismétlõdése az egész felületet dinamikus mozgásba hozza. Késõbb az analitikus kubizmus hatására színvilága hidegebb lett. Képei mentesek az irodalmi vonatkozásoktól, kizárólag a tér-, forma-, színviszonyok összefüggéseit kutatja. GALIMBERTI, Sándor (1883, Kaposvár - 1915, Budapest) Tabán (Cityscape in Budapest) 1910 Oil on canvas, 111 x 76 cm Hungarian National Gallery, Budapest Galimberti's works (altogether about 20) indicate a steady artistic development. "Tabán" comes from the middle of his rather short career which sums up previous experiences and marks future trends. Like many of his contemporaries, he could never free himself from the Nagybánya traditions in portraying nature. Warm colours of this picture recall what he learnt in Nagybánya but the influence of Les Fauves is also apparent, e.g. in the decorative line of the branch leaning in, or the delicate net of contours making colours brighter. In his early works, he attempts to subordinate nature to decorative composition where he is assisted by the oblong shape of the picture. Planes of roofs and the rhythmic repetition of forms make the picture dynamic. Later, colours turned cold on the influence of analytic cubism. His pictures are free from references to literature, he is only considering connections between space, form and colours. Type: landscape Time-line: 1901-1925 Form: painting |
